Data you give us

Free audit booking form: name, company or brand, phone or WhatsApp number, email, website or store link (optional), industry, approximate monthly sales, the services you need, a description of your challenge, and the time slot you choose.
Free guide download forms: name, email and phone number (optional).
Newsletter: email only.
Correspondence: anything you send us by email, WhatsApp or phone.

Data collected automatically

Your site preferences: language, theme (light or dark) and currency. These stay in your browser and are never sent to us.
Usage and measurement data: such as pages visited, traffic source, device and browser type, and interaction with buttons and forms. Collected automatically while you use the site; you can decline in the cookie banner.
Basic technical data: such as IP address and server logs needed to run and secure the site.

We never ask for payment or card details on this website. Payments for our services are made under signed proposals and contracts, outside the website.

How we collect it

Directly from you when you fill in a form or contact us.
Through your browser's local storage (localStorage), to remember your preferences.
Through measurement and marketing tools (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel with Conversions API), which run automatically while you use the site unless you decline. If you decline, we keep only anonymous, cookie-free measurement.

Why we use it and our legal basis

To respond to your request, arrange your free audit and send a booking confirmation. Basis: your request and steps taken at your request before any contract.
To send the free guide you asked for and follow up on it. Basis: your consent when you submit the form.
To send our newsletter. Basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link.
To prepare a technical and financial proposal when you ask for one. Basis: preparing a contract at your request.
To measure and improve the site and our ad campaigns. Basis: your implied consent by using the site, with the right to decline at any time.
To secure the site, prevent misuse and meet our legal obligations. Basis: our legitimate interest and legal obligation.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

Who we share it with

We share data only as far as the purposes above require, and only with parties that protect it:

The EBG and Estate View team handling your request and delivering the service.
Hosting and technical providers: our content management system (Directus), hosted for EBG and Estate View, and the service that sends confirmation emails.
A customer relationship management (CRM) system such as HubSpot, if we connect one to manage follow-ups.
Google and Meta for measurement and advertising, unless you decline.
Public authorities when required by law or a court order.

Transfers outside Egypt

Some technical providers (such as Google, Meta and CRM systems) may store data on servers outside Egypt. When this happens, we make sure the transfer follows the conditions set by Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law, uses providers with an adequate level of protection, and is limited to what is necessary.

How long we keep it

Audit booking and guide form data: 24 months from our last contact, unless an active contract or a legal obligation requires longer.
Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.
Site preferences: in your browser until you delete them or clear your browser data.
Measurement data: under the retention settings configured in our measurement tools, kept to the minimum needed.

When the period ends, we delete the data or make it anonymous.

Data security

Encrypted connection (HTTPS) on every page.
Access limited to the team members who need it.
Forms protected against bots and abuse.
Regular review of security settings and providers.

No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data and handle any security incident as the law requires.

Children's data

Our services are for businesses and business owners, and the site is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children's data; if we learn that we have, we delete it.

Updates

We may update this policy when our practices, tools or legal requirements change. We publish the new version on this page with its last-updated date and tell you about significant changes in an appropriate way.
